These Terms of Use apply to your access to and use of the CounselWindow website and any early-access information, alerts, reports, rankings, or other product features made available through CounselWindow.

Informational service only

CounselWindow organizes and enriches publicly available labor-relations information. The service is provided for informational and workflow-support purposes only and does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or a recommendation to contact or pursue any person or organization.

No government affiliation

CounselWindow is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or acting on behalf of the National Labor Relations Board or any other government agency.

Data accuracy and availability

Public-source information can be incomplete, delayed, corrected, supplemented, or removed. CounselWindow does not warrant that information is complete, current, error-free, or available without interruption. You are responsible for verifying material information with the original source before relying on it.

Priority indicators, rankings, and scores

Priority indicators, rankings, scores, flags, and similar features are organizational tools based on available information and product methodology. They are not legal conclusions or predictions and should not be interpreted as assessments of legal merit, case outcome, employer intent, wrongdoing, the need for counsel, or the likelihood that a party will retain any particular lawyer, law firm, consultant, or advisor.

Permitted use

You may use CounselWindow for lawful professional research, monitoring, and business-development workflows. You may not use the service to misrepresent public records, impersonate CounselWindow or a government agency, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, or use the service in violation of applicable law or professional obligations.

Professional responsibility

Users are responsible for their own compliance with applicable laws, court rules, bar rules, solicitation and advertising rules, privacy requirements, contractual obligations, and professional standards. CounselWindow does not determine whether a particular outreach, communication, or use of public information is permissible for a particular user or jurisdiction.

Intellectual property

The CounselWindow name, branding, site design, original compilation, scoring methodology, and product presentation are owned by CounselWindow or its licensors. Underlying public records remain subject to the rights and terms applicable to their original sources.

Disclaimer and limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CounselWindow is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind. CounselWindow is not responsible for decisions made solely in reliance on information presented through the service or for changes made by the underlying public source after information is collected.
